Inxbase is a drug interaction database, which contains a short, concise and evidence-based information on more than 16 000 drug interactions. Inxbase also covers clinically most relevant interactions between drugs and food or natural products.
All interactions are described at the level of generic drug and Inxbase even takes into account the dosage form of the drug. The interactions are classified according to the clinical relevance (A to D) and level of documentation (0 to 4). The letter A (green light) stands for a minor interaction of no clinical relevance and correspondingly letter D for a clinically relevant interaction that is best avoided. In the level of documentation the number 0 stands for the weakest evidence, wheras number 4 stands for strong evidence.
